\n\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n\t\t\tSavannah Chrisley got candid about how her spending habits shifted with her parent\u2019s legal issues. \u201cI will make no bones about it, I spent my money like it was never ever gonna go away,\u201d Chrisley, 26, told Entertainment Tonight in an interview published on Monday, September 11. Savannah described how hard it was after she [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cSo I didn\u2019t know, and this is just a PSA for people. When you are traveling, you have to declare if you make purchases overseas, which I did,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI declared.\u201d<\/p>\n
Savannah shared that when you go abroad, you are asked by customs agents how much you spent during her trip. The Chrisley Knows Best alum confessed that she provided an estimated number because it can be difficult to keep track of all the purchases.<\/p>\n
\u201cI gave them a number and I didn\u2019t know it was this serious,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
After giving them an estimate, Savannah was asked by the agent to step to the side to go \u201cthrough a different process.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cSo I go over and the guy goes, \u2018So how much did you say?\u2019 And I told him,\u201d she reflected. \u201cKeep in mind, I handed all my receipts to them and the products. And he goes, \u2018Your number is far off.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Todd quipped, \u201cShocker.\u201d<\/p>\n
Savannah noted that she apologized to the agent and explained that she \u201cwasn\u2019t really keeping track\u201d of how much she spent while visiting \u201cfour or five different countries.\u201d The agent then warned her he could \u201cseize\u201d all the \u201cbelongings\u201d she bought during her vacation and fine her $10,000.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was sweating, I was sweating bullets,\u201d she said. \u201c[My brother] Grayson and his girlfriend [Skylar Ehlinger<\/strong>], she felt my back after she died laughing \u2018cause that sweatshirt was soaked. I was like, \u2018Oh my god, I\u2019m about to go to prison right now. Now this is not fun.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\nTodd joked that Savannah was throwing out the word prison too much to his liking.<\/p>\n
