Dolly Parton<\/strong><\/a> has been sharing videos in which she reminisces about her life in show business on her new Substack account \u2014 and in the latest offering, she recalls working alongside some of her fellow female country superstars.<\/p>\n \u201cI loved Tammy<\/strong> [Wynette<\/strong>] and Dottie<\/strong> [Rambo<\/strong>] and Loretta<\/strong> [Lynn<\/strong>] and Lynn Anderson<\/strong>,\u201d the \u201cJolene\u201d singer, 79, gushed in a video<\/a> posted on Tuesday, November 18. \u201cWe were like sisters.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOh, we did the gossip and stuff about each other when they\u2019d leave the room,\u201d she confessed, \u201cbut we\u2019d still welcome them back in loving them just like you do with your own family.\u201d<\/p>\n But the 10-time Grammy winner, who recorded the 1993 album Honky Tonk Angels<\/a> with her longtime friends Wynette and Lynn, insisted that there \u201cwas a deep love between us,\u201d adding that despite the gossip, there was very little competition between them.<\/p>\n YouTube\/Dolly Parton<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe were \u2026 as Minnie Pearl<\/strong> would say, \u2018just proud to be here,\u2019\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n \u201cWe all took great pride in one another and we were encouraging,\u201d the Steel Magnolias star<\/a> added. \u201cThere was no real jealousy between us.
