Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> is taking the heat for sister Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> believing the moon landing was fake \u2014 because she\u2019s the one who convinced her it\u2019s true.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t believe in the moon landing,\u201d Khlo\u00e9, 41, told People<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on Tuesday, November 18. \u201cThat\u2019s very controversial. And I feel bad because I think I riled Kim up about it, and I\u2019ve gotten her into a lot of trouble!\u201d<\/p>\n

Khlo\u00e9 explained that she and her brother, Rob Kardashian<\/strong>, \u201cdon\u2019t think\u201d the 1969 moon landing with astronauts Neil Armstrong<\/strong> and Buzz Aldrin<\/strong><\/a> \u201chappened,\u201d and therefore the pair have fed Kim, 45, \u201ca lot of information\u201d about the conspiracy theory.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel bad about that, but I\u2019m going to die on this hill!\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tUPDATE \u2014 10\/30\/25, 4:10 p.m. ET: NASA has apparently heard that Kim Kardashian thinks the moon landing was fake, and they\u2019re ready to correct the record. \u201cYes, @KimKardashian, we\u2019ve been to the Moon before\u2026 6 times!\u201d NASA Acting Administrator Sean Duffy tweeted on Thursday, October 30, hours after Hulu dropped the Kardashians episode where the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kim made headlines last month when she brought up the Apollo 11 space mission with All\u2019s Fair<\/em> costar<\/a> Sarah Paulson<\/strong> during an episode of The Kardashians<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sending you a million interviews with Buzz Aldrin. This [reporter] asks, \u2018What was the scariest moment?\u2019 And he goes, \u2018There was no scary moment because it didn\u2019t happen. It could have been scary, but it wasn\u2019t because it didn\u2019t happen,\u2019\u201d Kim explained to Paulson, 51, adding, \u201cI think it didn\u2019t happen. I\u2019m going to go on a serious deep dive. I send [Sarah] conspiracies all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video in question was actually several interviews with Aldrin that were taken out of their original context and cut together to mislead viewers, including a clip from a 2015 event where Aldrin said there were not \u201cscary\u201d moments that happened during his journey to the moon. A second video featured Aldrin explaining at the 2015 National Book Festival that budget issues are to blame for so few trips to space. (A spokesperson for Aldrin did not request to comment when the video went viral.)<\/p>\n

When explaining her arguments for why the 1969 space trip wasn\u2019t possible, Kim claimed, \u201cThere\u2019s no gravity on the moon. Why is the flag blowing? The shoes that they have in the museum that they wore on the moon is a different print in the photos. Why are there no stars? They\u2019re gonna say I\u2019m crazy no matter what but go to TikTok and see for yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Kim claimed that Aldrin admits he never went to the moon \u201call the time now\u201d and suggested Khlo\u00e9 getting him for her podcast, \u201cKhlo\u00e9 in Wonder Land,\u201d NASA took to social media shortly after the episode aired to set the record straight.<\/p>\n
