He said he&#8217;d witnessed the shooting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Alvarez was initially arrested in June on a first-degree murder charge and subsequently released on a $200,000 bond.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police told <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/man-indicted-for-murder-of-king-of-the-hill-actor-jonathan-joss-11852332\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:PEOPLE;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">PEOPLE<\/a> that they found Joss &#8220;near the roadway&#8221; when they responded to a report of a shooting June 1 at about 7 p.m. The victim&#8217;s husband told them that he had witnessed the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">EW has reached out to an attorney for Alvarez.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Joss, whose legal name was Jonathan Joss Gonzales,\u00a0appeared in all 13 seasons of <em>King of the Hill<\/em>, which ended in 2010.
