New York rock label\u00a0Equal Vision Records\u00a0and\u00a0Murals\u00a0have shared their new offering \u201ctough,\u201d the latest single to be lifted from their just released\u00a0seven-song EP\u00a0Murals<\/em><\/a>. The progressive post-hardcore<\/a> trio\u2019s new EP is an exciting\u00a0new project that showcases three talented musicians exploring a multitude of styles,\u00a0Murals<\/em>\u00a0EP serves as an innovative platform for the talents of\u00a0Shane Gann\u00a0(guitar\/vocals),\u00a0Blake Dahlinger\u00a0(drums) and\u00a0Tony Bautista\u00a0(bass\/vocals), whose personal and musical personalities mesh seamlessly.\u00a0 \u201c\u2018tough\u2019 is about resilience and how the relatability of the human experience is found in each of us having our own individual struggles,\u201d\u00a0Bautista said. \u201cSometimes I win, sometimes I fail. Gann and Dahlinger would later recruit Bautista as the touring bassist for Sufferer, which also led them to invite him back to be involved with Murals. The pandemic changed Sufferer\u2019s trajectory, and the group saw a broader set of opportunities opening up with Murals, so they decided to explore those.\u00a0<\/p>\n The band\u2019s mission is to help create real progressive, social change by offering support to those facing challenges and injustices in our modern world.
