Knoxville’s biggest country stars are taking on the 59th annual CMA Awards.<\/a><\/p>\n

Morgan Wallen<\/a>, Kelsea Ballerini<\/a> and Kenny Chesney<\/a> are all nominated for Country Music Association Awards, <\/a>which are among the most prestigious titles a country artist can win.<\/p>\n

All three singers grew up in Knoxville before taking the country music scene by storm. Wallen<\/a> is one of the biggest names in the music industry right now, having won Entertainer of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards.<\/p>\n

Chesney<\/a> has been a household name for decades and is a four-time Entertainer of the Year winner. He most recently held the title in 2008.<\/p>\n

Ballerini is another Knoxville-native-turned-breakout-star. She was first nominated for “Best New Artist” in 2015 and has been nominated in a CMA category nearly every year since.<\/p>\n
