\n\tSpotify is providing users <\/a>with deeper insight into their listening experience through the expansion of Song Credits, as well as the introduction of SongDNA and About the Song.<\/p>\n \n\tFans were previously able to access Song Credits on any given track, including top-level performance, songwriting and production information. Now, Spotify<\/a> will expand the Song Credits feature to show all contributors to a tune, spanning from engineers to mixers. The new credits will initially appear on mobile devices before being displayed on desktops in the coming months, and labels and distributors will provide the information to the streaming service.<\/p>\n \n\tIn a promotional clip showcasing the Song Credits feature, singer Charlie Puth explained why he supports the expansion. \u201cI think this new feature can provide a new, deeper connection between the song and the people who listen to it,\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s so many people who work on songs and never get the credit that they deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n
