A prolific songwriter and emotive vocalist whose heartfelt compositions have been embraced by critics and fans alike for more than two decades, Ginny Owens returns to the road this winter for a string of bicoastal dates. Performing a\u00a0selection of\u00a0career-spanning favorites, Owens is also set for the live debut of several new and unreleased tracks, including her latest single, October\u2019s Gospel-tinged\u00a0pop anthem \u201cOn Repeat<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Penned by Owens and produced by Kyle Schonewill, \u201cOn Repeat\u201d offers a sneak peek of\u00a0Owens\u2019 forthcoming EP,\u00a0Different Kind of Water<\/em>, which is slated for release in February. With its buoyant, infectious melody and encouragement to persevere\u00a0through the twists and turns of life, the song has been showcased on Spotify\u2019s All New Christian & Gospel and Christian Rising playlists, among others. \u201c\u2019On Repeat\u2019 seems to be resonating with listeners\u2014probably because we all know what it\u2019s like to need to change the song playing on repeat in our minds to one that is true, good, and beautiful,\u201d says Owens of the track\u2019s reception.<\/p>\n Hitting the West Coast early next year, Owens will perform January 28 at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, among other dates to be announced. The New York City-based singer\/songwriter returns home for a February 6 concert at Moshava Art in Greenwich Village, before heading to Nashville for her\u00a0Different Kind of Water<\/em>\u00a0EP release celebration at the recently inaugurated Museum of Christian & Gospel Music on February 10.<\/p>\n In anticipation of sharing new music with audiences around the country, Owens says, \u201cThese songs have been written slowly and thoughtfully over several years. They wrestle with the things that grow more important as time goes by.
