Sarah Sherman, the SNL<\/em> cast member also known as Sarah Squirm, has locked in a premiere date for her debut comedy special, HBO\u2019s Sarah Squirm: Live + In the Flesh<\/em>. Her new hour, directed by Cody Critcheloe, debuts Friday, December 12 at 9:00 p.m. ET\/PT on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.<\/p>\n In Live + In the Flesh<\/em>, Sherman rips off the straitjacket after four seasons (and counting) on Saturday Night Live<\/em>, unleashing a festering and hilarious hour of bodily fluids, open-wound confessionals, and jokes that will leave scars on your soul. <\/p>\n More from Deadline<\/strong><\/p>\n The special is written and performed by Sherman, who exec produced alongside Lorne Michaels, Hilary Marx, and Taylor Segal for Broadway Video; Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush, and Josh Safdie for Central; Matthew Vaughan for Rotten Science; Dan McManus; and Jack Bensinger.<\/p>\n Sherman joined SNL<\/em> as a featured player in October 2021, was upped to repertory in October 2023, and has now emerged as one of the show\u2019s standout players.
