In addition to\u00a0new music, Lainey\u2019s agenda includes planning her wedding to her fianc\u00e9, Devlin \u201cDuck\u201d Hodges<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 she says they haven\u2019t started yet.\u00a0<\/p>\n\u201cThat\u2019s the problem,\u201d she says. \u201cNo, it\u2019s funny! I\u2019ve been so busy this year that we\u2019re like, \u2018We\u2019re gonna figure it out, for sure!\u2019 He\u2019s such a good dude. He is my best friend. He\u2019s my biggest cheerleader. We lift each other up.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lainey appears in\u00a0US Weekly\u2019<\/em>s \u201cHumankind\u201d issue, and she discusses the lessons she learned from her family and her community about giving back, as well as her philanthropy.<\/p>\n\u201cKindness might be one of my superpowers,\u201d she says. \u201cKindness has definitely gotten me a lot further than the opposite.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI wish everybody could lead with love,\u201d she continues. \u201cIf we were all aware of that and reminded of how important and powerful words are \u2014 even a pat on the back \u2014 I think we\u2019d all be leading with a little more kindness.\u201d<\/p>\n
