Following his impeccable screen performance, Babu began landing acting roles in several Telugu films, including Sankharavam, Mugguru Kodukulu, Bazaar Rowdy, Gudachari 117, and\u00a0Koduku Diddina Kapuram.\u00a0However, in 1990, the actor took a break from acting to focus on his studies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Almost a decade later, he returned to the entertainment industry with the film Rajakumarudu, earning him the title \u201cThe Little Prince\u201d after the film\u2019s massive success. Since then, Babu has delivered many commercially successful films,\u00a0earning various accolades including Nandi Awards, Filmfare Awards, Santosh Film Awards, and more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Some of his critically acclaimed performance includes Athadu, Pokiri,<br \/>Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Bharat Ane Nenu, Guntur Kaaram, Maharshi, and Dookudu.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">In Rajamouli\u2019s Varanasi, Mahesh plays a dual role as Rudhra and Lord Ram of the ancient Hindu epic Ramayana. While details about the films are still under wraps, Varanasi is slated to hit theaters sometime in 2027.
