HBO will keep the Game of Thrones<\/em> pipeline running for the next several years.<\/p>\n The premium outlet has ordered new seasons of GoT<\/em> prequels House of the Dragon<\/em> and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms<\/em> ahead of their 2026 premieres. House of the Dragon<\/em> will get a fourth season, and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms<\/em>, based on George R.R. Martin\u2019s Dunk and Egg novellas, will return for a second season.<\/p>\n More from The Hollywood Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n Both shows will air in 2026, with A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms<\/em> set to premiere Jan. 18 and House of the Dragon<\/em> season three slated for the summer. Season two of Knight<\/em> will follow in 2027, and season four of House of the Dragon<\/em> is set for 2028.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are thrilled to be able to deliver new seasons of these two series for the next three years, for the legion of fans of the Game of Thrones<\/em> universe,\u201d said Francesca Orsi, executive vp HBO Programming and head of HBO drama series and films. \u201cTogether, House of the Dragon<\/em> and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms<\/em> reveal just how expansive and richly imagined George R. And this summer, House of the Dragon<\/em>\u00a0is set to ignite once again with some of its most epic battles yet.\u201d<\/p>\n Ryan Condal and Martin are co-creators of House of the Dragon<\/em>, with Condal serving as showrunner. They executive produce with Sara Hess, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Vince Gerardis, David Hancock and Philippa Goslett.<\/p>\n Parker, a writer and co-EP on season one of House of the Dragon<\/em>, co-created A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms<\/em> with Martin and is the showrunner.
