Stephen Colbert has sent a clear message to Donald Trump on the Epstein files, \u201cyour move, Don.\u201d<\/p>\n
During the Thursday, November 20 episode of The Late Show<\/a>, the 61-year-old host\u2019s monologue shed light on the House of Representatives\u2019 427-1 vote to pass an act that moves to release the files from the registered sex offender\u2019s high-profile court case<\/a>.<\/p>\n He started, \u201cWe\u2019re just over a week away from Thanksgiving but, ladies and gentleman, I am already thankful because last night, around 5:30, the U.S. House and Senate voted overwhelmingly to make the justice department release the Epstein<\/a> files.<\/p>\n \u201cAs per the constitution, Congress then left the bill on Trump\u2019s desk like a flaming bag of poop,\u201d he joked. \u201cVery hard to put a gold leaf on that.\u201d<\/p>\n Colbert went on to contemplate what the president\u2019s next move would be, especially considering he\u2019s already \u201ctried to do everything possible to keep this from ever happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cWhen all that failed and it looked like he was going to lose, Trump suddenly flipped and said everybody should vote for it and they did. Hence, the poop flamb\u00e9.<\/p>\n He questioned, \u201cIs he going to sign it? Is he going to not sign it or is he going to change his name to Senor Ramon and flee to Acalpuco?<\/p>\n Echoing Minority Leader Chuck Schumer\u2019s latest take on the issue, Colbert said, \u201cThey can not f\u2014 around.
