Embroiled actor Kevin Spacey has revealed that he is now homeless. <\/p>\n
Spacey said in a recent interview with The Telegraph<\/a> that he lost his house \u201cbecause the costs over these last seven years have been astronomical,\u201d adding, \u201cI\u2019ve had very little coming in and everything going out.\u201d<\/p>\n Spacey is an Oscar winner who once was one of the biggest stars in Hollywood thanks to films such as \u201cL.A. Confidential,\u201d \u201cThe Usual Suspects\u201d and \u201cSe7en.\u201d His career was derailed in 2017 when he was accused of sexual assault by several men between 2001 and 2013.<\/p>\n A London jury acquitted Spacey in 2023<\/a> and, in 2022, he was found not liable in a civil lawsuit, according to Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. <\/p>\n However, the jury\u2019s verdict did not revive his Hollywood career and he tells The Telegraph that he was near bankruptcy and was forced to sell his home in Baltimore.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m living in hotels, I\u2019m living in Airbnbs, I\u2019m going where the work is,\u201d Spacey told the outlet. \u201cI literally have no home, that\u2019s what I\u2019m attempting to explain.\u201d<\/p>\n The Golden Globe winner added, \u201cYou get through it. In weird ways, I feel I\u2019m back to where I first started, which is I just went where the work was. Everything is in storage, and I hope at some point, if things continue to improve, that I\u2019ll be able to decide where I want to settle down again.\u201d<\/p>\n He added that he believes the public still supports him, even if Hollywood doesn\u2019t. But he also admits to making mistakes<\/a> in the past.<\/p>\n \u201cWhy was I such a good villain, why did I fit so well into a narrative that was out there?\u201d Spacey said. \u201cAnd some of those were important questions for me to ask, to take accountability for where I made mistakes.<\/p>\n \u201cI suppose when I look back, I wish I had spoken out sooner and allowed my voice to be heard more,\u201d he said. \u201cEven though I tried not to be a jerk, I think that to some degree I always was a jerk, because people were stopping and I always had somewhere to go, and I think I was always putting people in lanes \u2014 he wants this, she wants that, something from me.
