The show typically goes through multiple offers for some roles until a deal is made. Following White\u2019s participation in the upcoming 50th season of CBS\u2019 <em>Survivor,<\/em> filmed in Fiji over the summer, he headed to France to scout locations and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/tv\/articles\/white-lotus-headed-france-season-210824146.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:was spotted;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">was spotted<\/a> at French Riviera hotels, including Nice\u2019s historic Hotel Negresco. The Riviera is considered a lock as a <em>White Lotus<\/em> Season 4 destination, with Paris also rumored as a possibility.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The exact hotels have not been confirmed yet, and, as Deadline reported, it is unclear whether any of them will be Four Seasons like in previous seasons (Grand-H\u00f4tel du Cap-Ferrat and Paris\u2019 Hotel George V would be suitable candidates). HBO currently does not have a marketing agreement with the hotel chain for Season 4.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cFor the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the crashing waves of rocks vernacular but there\u2019s always more room for more murders at the White Lotus hotels,\u201d White\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/mike-white-teases-location-season-030621269.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:said at the end of Season 3;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">said at the end of Season 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">While is believed to have done at least some \u2014 if not all \u2014 of the writing for the new season in France.
