It will be fronted by Vertigo\u2019s head of physical sales Andrew Dillon, and will release \u201cone to two titles a month\u201d, according to Vertigo CEO Rupert Preston.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUHD [ultra high definition] is the only physical home entertainment format that\u2019s seeing significant year-on-year growth,\u201d said Dillon. \u201cWe\u2019re trying to get in on that while it\u2019s in an upswing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve got a library of 350 to 400 films. Library is a huge chunk of what we do,\u201d said Preston. \u201cVisions is a great extension of that. In the last few years, there\u2019s a clearly defined market for brilliantly presented films.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>VHV will conduct premium physical format releases for both library titles and\u00a0more recent titles.<\/p>\n<p>It will launch with the premium UHD and Blu-ray release of the 4K remaster of Kevin Smith\u2019s 1999 <em>Dogma,\u00a0<\/em>starring Smith, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. The title had disappeared from the physical market for almost two decades due to a rights dispute between Smith and The Weinstein Company.<\/p>\n<p>The 4K remaster has grossed over $2.2m worldwide from a theatrical release this year, with Vertigo Releasing opening it in the UK &amp; Ireland on November 7.
