From surprise performances with an internet famous baseball team and music festivals to announcing a new tour and album, All Time Low has had a pretty exciting run this year. <\/p>\n
The popular punk rock band kicked off their world tour<\/a> in October and sold out<\/a> several shows in the process, including their Boston<\/a> show. <\/p>\n However, due to popular demand, All Time Low added a second show<\/a> in the city as well as New York. Frontman Alex Gaskarth told MassLive his band has been feeling the love from fans ever since the tour started. <\/p>\n \u201cThe tour\u2019s been awesome. We\u2019re playing songs from every era of All Time Low and it feels like the show has something for everyone, old fans and new,\u201d the singer said. \u201cThe new songs have been a highlight \u2014 people are popping off in the pit.\u201d <\/p>\n All Time Low, which formed in 2003, has earned multiple gold and platinum certified singles and albums. Perhaps best known for their debut single, \u201cDear Maria, Count Me In,\u201d the band has notched five top 10 entries on the Billboard 200 chart, including \u201cNothing Personal\u201d (2009), \u201cDirty Work\u201d (2011), \u201cDon\u2019t Panic\u201d (2012), \u201cFuture Hearts\u201d (2015) and \u201cLast Young Renegade\u201d (2017). <\/p>\n All Time Low dropped the band\u2019s latest album, \u201cEveryone\u2019s Talking\u201d on Oct. 17. The 15-track project serves as a follow-up to the group\u2019s 2023 effort, \u201cTell Me I\u2019m Alive.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cSugar,\u201d one of the tracks on the album, is a collaboration with Foxborough native and chart-topping singer JoJo. Gaskarth said this collaboration was \u201ca long time coming,\u201d despite All Time Low and JoJo having distinctly different sounds. <\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019d known each other for years, but never thought to do something together because we both creatively existed in different worlds,\u201d Gaskarth explained. \u201cBut when we wrote \u2018Sugar,\u2019 I knew she would be perfect for it, and thankfully she was down to be a part of it. She elevated the song so much.\u201d<\/p>\n All Time Low will perform at MGM Music Hall Fenway in Boston on Nov. 22<\/a> and Nov. 23<\/a>. Gaskarth said Boston feels like \u201ca second home\u201d to All Time Low because their longtime lighting guy and one of their former aux players are both from Boston. <\/p>\n \u201cEvery time we rolled through it felt like a friends and family event, and that\u2019s stuck with us over the years,\u201d the musician added. <\/p>\n All Time Low held a pop-up show<\/a> at Cisco Brewers in Fenway the last time the group was in Boston. The band performed a roughly 45-minute acoustic set, marking the first-ever pop-up show at the venue. Songs on the band\u2019s setlist included \u201cThe Weather,\u201d \u201cSomething\u2019s Gotta Give,\u201c \u201cMonsters\u201d and \u201cDamned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don\u2019t).\u201d During the show, the band debuted<\/a> their new single \u201cOh No!,\u201d which was officially released the following Friday. <\/p>\n
