One of pop music\u2019s biggest stars says her singing days might be coming to an end. Despite not touring since 2019, singer\/actress Ariana Grande says her upcoming 2026 \u201cThe Eternal Sunshine\u201d tour could be her last for an extended period. <\/p>\n
Grande, who is currently in the middle of a promotional tour for her upcoming film \u201cWicked: For Good,\u201d made the announcement during an appearance this week on Amy Poehler\u2019s \u201cGood Hang\u201d podcast<\/a>. While she says she is looking forward to the tour, Grande admits she doesn\u2019t have much planned for her future in music. <\/p>\n “I don\u2019t want to say anything definitive. I do know that I\u2019m very excited to do this small tour, but I think it might not happen again for a long, long, long, long, long time,” Grande said. “I\u2019m going to give it my all and it\u2019s going to be beautiful. I think that\u2019s why I\u2019m doing it because I\u2019m like, \u2018One last hurrah!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Grande made it clear that she isn\u2019t walking away from music permanently, but is excited to take on different projects instead of music. Poehler made a point of saying it can be refreshing to step away from something you love to pursue other passions, which Grande agreed with. <\/p>\n \u201cYou are able to do better by that art form, because you\u2019re appreciative and really able to feel present in it,\u201d Grande said. <\/p>\n Grande\u2019s last tour \u201cThe Sweetener World Tour\u201d ended in December 2019 after she performed more than 90 shows over the course of 9 months. <\/p>\n The upcoming tour kicks off on June 6 in Oakland, Calif. and will feature 41 shows in total.
