Robert Pietranton<\/a>, tenured publicity and communications executive at Warner Bros. Television<\/a>, died in his Los Angeles home Wednesday. He was 56.<\/p>\n

Pietranton most recently served as Senior Vice President, Publicity and Communications at Warner Bros. Television Group<\/a> and was with the company for 20 years, shepherding series as diverse as \u201cAbbott Elementary<\/a>,\u201d \u201cThe West Wing<\/a>,\u201d \u201cThe Pitt<\/a>,\u201d \u201cTwo and a Half Men<\/a>\u201d and \u201cShameless<\/a>.\u201d Before that, the communications executive worked for Sony Pictures Television<\/a> and in the PR division of DreamWorks Television<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His cause of death was not revealed in a studio announcement Thursday.<\/p>\n
