\n Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey<\/a> has said he\u2019s got \u201cno home,\u201d citing the costs he\u2019s incurred following allegations of sexual assault.\n <\/p>\n \n Speaking to UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph<\/a> in an interview published Wednesday, Spacey revealed that the financial fallout of the allegations, which came to light in 2017, resulted in him losing his house.\n <\/p>\n \n In 2022, a New York jury found Spacey not liable for battery over allegations he picked up actor Anthony Rapp and laid on top of him after a party in 1986. And in 2023, Spacey was cleared of a number of sexual assault charges by a court in London, United Kingdom, in a separate case.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cThe costs over these last seven years have been astronomical. I\u2019ve had very little coming in and everything going out,\u201d he said.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cEverything is in storage, and I hope at some point, if things continue to improve, that I\u2019ll be able to decide where I want to settle down again,\u201d added Spacey.\n <\/p>\n \n \u201cI\u2019m living in hotels, I\u2019m living in Airbnbs, I\u2019m going where the work is. I literally have no home, that\u2019s what I\u2019m attempting to explain,\u201d he said, adding that his financial situation was \u201cnot great.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n Spacey, 66, built a hugely successful career after starting out as a stage actor in the 1980s. He went on to win the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for \u201cThe Usual Suspects\u201d (1995) and the Academy Award for Best Actor for \u201cAmerican Beauty\u201d (1999).\n <\/p>\n \n He was artistic director at London\u2019s Old Vic theater between 2004 and 2015, and played Frank Underwood in Netflix political drama \u201cHouse of Cards.\u201d\n <\/p>\n \n However, in 2017, actor Rapp said Spacey had made a sexual advance<\/a> toward him in 1986, when Rapp was then 14 and Spacey was 26.\n <\/p>\n \n As other allegations of abuse followed, Netflix cut ties with Spacey on the series \u201cHouse of Cards\u201d and his scenes in the Ridley Scott movie \u201cAll the Money in the World<\/a>\u201d were re-shot by the late Christopher Plummer.\n <\/p>\n \n Spacey denied any allegations of improper or criminal behavior and a New York jury found him not liable for battery against Rapp in October 2022.\n <\/p>\n \n He was also found not guilty of seven counts of sexual assault and two counts of other serious sexual offenses at a court in London in July 2023.\n <\/p>\n \n Despite these legal victories, Spacey is yet to be welcomed back into the Hollywood fold.\n <\/p>\n
