While the good doctor \u2013 real name <strong>Barry Hansen<\/strong> \u2013 was only shown from the back, his voice was heard, and he was credited with an appearance in the end credits. I speculate they either had a stand-in play Dr. Demento, since he&#8217;s aged a couple of decades since the &#8217;90s, or they just filmed him from behind to maintain his youthful look.<\/p>\n<p>In any case, Dr. Demento loved Connor&#8217;s song, and while this could be the beginning of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/television\/georgie-and-mandy-montana-jordan-thinks-connor-needs-spinoff\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/television\/georgie-and-mandy-montana-jordan-thinks-connor-needs-spinoff\">him getting his own spinoff<\/a>, I think it could lay the groundwork in for a big celebrity cameo.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" id=\"elk-1b49d015-95d5-4d40-a0ab-c57139b46c1c\" data-url=\"\" href=\"\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"will-dr-demento-introduce-connor-to-weird-al-yankovic-3\">Will Dr. Demento Introduce Connor To Weird Al Yankovic? <\/h2>\n<p id=\"3f69d5b0-40db-4ea0-a8aa-9eead08e21bb\">The minute I heard Dr. Demento&#8217;s name, I had to wonder if this meant <strong>Weird Al Yankovic<\/strong> would make an appearance on <em>Georgie &amp; Mandy&#8217;s First Marriage<\/em>. For readers who don&#8217;t know the connection, Weird Al rose to prominence with the help of the <em><strong>Dr. Demento Show<\/strong><\/em> and was inspired to write and send in music thanks to the syndicated radio show.<\/p>\n<p id=\"c277c33b-26de-4b04-a79f-b206fdaaa699\">Weird Al was already an established name in music by the early &#8217;90s, and I can&#8217;t help but wonder if Dr. Demento&#8217;s liking of Connor&#8217;s music may lead to a meeting between the two. This episode featured Connor wondering what he&#8217;s going to do in his life, and Mandy noting that he&#8217;s really good at playing instruments. Granted, <em>Georgie &amp; Mandy&#8217;s First Marriage,<\/em> being a sitcom set in the &#8217;90s, can make celebrity cameos challenging.
