Bhansali\u2019s recent directorial work includes \u201cGangubai Kathiawadi\u201d and the Netflix series \u201cHeeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar,\u201d while his production company has backed titles including \u201cTuesdays and Fridays\u201d and \u201cMalaal.\u201d<\/p>\n Bhansali\u2019s next directorial spectacle \u201cLove & War,\u201d starring\u00a0Ranbir Kapoor<\/a>,\u00a0Alia Bhatt<\/a>\u00a0and Vicky Kaushal, will open in theaters on Aug. 14, 2026. Kapoor debuted as a leading man with Bhansali\u2019s romance \u201cSaawariya\u201d (2007), a Fyodor Dostoevsky adaptation. Bhatt headlined Bhansali\u2019s women empowerment saga \u201cGangubai Kathiawadi,\u201d which bowed at the 2022 Berlinale. They starred together in Disney\u2019s sci-fi mythological superhero film \u201cBrahmastra Part One: Shiva\u201d (2022).
