\n\t\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d alum Leslie Jones<\/a> is among the guest stars set for Season 1 of CBS\u2019 new comedy \u201cDMV<\/a>,\u201d the network announced Monday. Other guest stars lined up include Zoe Lister-Jones<\/a> (\u201cSlip\u201d), Chelsea Frei (\u201cThe Paper\u201d) and former WNBA player Renee Montgomery, while Jessica Camacho<\/a> (\u201cCountdown\u201d) is set for a recurring role.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cDMV\u201d premiered Oct. 13 and is back for its second episode tonight. The show, which airs Mondays at 8:30 p.m. ET, is a single-camera comedy set in the fictional \u201cEast Hollywood\u201d branch of the Department of Motor Vehicles \u2013 where, as the logline notes, \u201cemployees are making minimum wage dealing with customers who are annoyed before they even walk in the door.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tHarriet Dyer, Tim Meadows, Tony Cavalero, Molly Kearney, Alex Tarrant and Gigi Zumbado star in \u201cDMV,\u201d which was developed by Dana Klein and inspired by a short story from\u00a0Katherine Heiny. The show has already been given a full season order of seven more episodes, bringing the total this year to 20.<\/p>\n \n\tOn an upcoming episode of \u201cDMV\u201d Jones will play Sally, described as \u201cthe energetic and proud executive assistant to the Director of the California DMV. Our characters meet Sally on their road trip to the DMV holiday party in Sacramento and Barb (Molly Kearney) and Sally are kindred spirits and share a love for all things DMV.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tLister-Jones will guest as Dr. Jacobs, \u201cthe entitled surgeon who\u2019s finally set aside time to get their license and is not at all pleased that it is taking so long.\u201d Frei plays Amber, the childhood friend of Colette (Dyer) \u201cwho is now an out of touch actress who visits the DMV to get her Real ID.\u201d <\/p>\n \n\tIn her recurring role, Camacho plays Surfer Mary, \u201cthe confident and carefree love interest who meets love interest Noa (Tarrant) when she is taking her driving test.\u201d And Montgomery is set for a cameo.<\/p>\n \n\tJones\u2019 new comedy special, \u201cLeslie Jones: Life Part 2,\u201d premieres this Friday, Oct. 24, on Peacock; Lister-Jones\u2019 credits also include \u201cBeau is Afraid,\u201d while Frei (repped by Paradigm and Untitled Ent.) has also been seen in \u201cPoker Face.\u201d Camacho\u2019s other credits include \u201cAll Rise.\u201d Montgomery is co-host of \u201cWomen\u2019s Sports Now,\u201d a TNT basketball analyst and co-owner and vice president of the WNBA\u2019s Atlanta Dream.<\/p>\n \n\tThey all join previously announced guest star Randall Park (\u201cFresh Off the Boat\u201d), who will appear in an upcoming episode as Beau Young, manager of the rival North Hollywood DMV. <\/p>\n \n\tCBS Studios is behind \u201cDMV,\u201d which is exec produced by Klein, Matt Kuhn, Aaron Kaplan, Wendi Trilling and Robyn Meisinger.
