Bridgerton<\/em><\/a> actress Genevieve Chenneour<\/a> has been the victim of another attack in London just months after a man attempted to steal her phone<\/a> in a coffee store.<\/p>\n Chenneour, who played Clara Livingston in the hit Netflix period drama, shared an emotional video on her Instagram Stories<\/a> on Thursday (November 20), revealing she was assaulted by a \u201cfull-grown adult\u201d man while on her way to an audition.<\/p>\n \u201cGuys, literally five minutes before my audition, I was walking around the corner at Oxford Circus and this guy just looks at me, and targets me, and f****** hits me,\u201d she said through tears. \u201cI\u2019m like, against the wall, and I was right about to arrive for my audition. So I had to come in, and I\u2019m trying to gather myself, but I\u2019m so shaken.\u201d<\/p>\n Chenneour noted the staff at the audition had given her a room above the audition space so she could gather herself. \u201cSo I\u2019m just going to take, like, half an hour, I think. I keep on having panic attacks,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n The actress wrote a description of the alleged attacker in the caption of her video, writing, \u201cHe was about 50 years old, 6\u20193\u2033, Black, wearing dark coloured hat and black clothes.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier this year, Chenneour snapped into action when she caught a thief sliding her cell phone off the counter while she was waiting for her order at a coffee shop. In the footage obtained by\u00a0The Daily Mail<\/em><\/a>, Chenneour is seen snatching the phone back from the thief\u2019s hand before a fight breaks out between the man and other customers.<\/p>\n The incident happened on February 8, 2025, and the thief later pleaded guilty on May 29. According to The Daily Mail<\/em>, the 18-year-old man was jailed for 22 months in July for common assault and multiple counts of theft.<\/p>\n \u201cI was left with a concussion just before the Screen Actors Guild Awards and since then, I\u2019ve felt constantly on edge,\u201d Chenneour previously said, per\u00a0The Daily Mail<\/em>.\u00a0She later left London to move in with her mother and stays in hotels when visiting the city for work.<\/p>\n In her Instagram video, an emotional Chenneour said, \u201cObviously I had that phone attack happen to me, and it\u2019s like, so nerve-racking for me being out in central London now. And I\u2019d just got my confidence up and was looking at moving back.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI couldn\u2019t walk anywhere. He was just looking at me and f****** hit me.
