Paradises<\/em>, arriving next year. Today, the Liverpool synth-pop crew is sharing another preview with “Kingdom Undersea.”<\/p>\nParadises<\/em> follows 2023’s Time’s Arrow<\/em>, and it was produced by the group’s Daniel Hunt and mixed by Jim Abbiss. Hunt says, “Every time I went into the studio, I’d come out after an hour with a new track. The key motivation was fun. Everything became fun again.”<\/p>\n“There’s an itch we never scratched,” he continues, “which is that despite our origins in the DJ world, we never actually made a ‘disco’ record. Albeit, ‘disco’ in our context has a somewhat different meaning.”<\/p>\n
