Overmono, the team of brothers Tom and Ed Russell, haven&#8217;t released another LP since then, but they&#8217;ve done one-off collaborations with people like <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2253566\/fred-again-lil-yachty-overmono-stayinit\/music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fred again..<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/stereogum.com\/2272086\/overmono-gem-lingo-ovr-now-feat-ruthven\/music\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ruthven<\/a>. A few months ago, Overmono teamed up with Joy Orbison and Skiifall on the single &#8220;Lippy.&#8221; They&#8217;ll play a lot of festivals next year, and now they&#8217;ve got a new single of their own.<\/p>\n<p>Overmono&#8217;s new track &#8220;Paradise Runner&#8221; is a sleek, energized dance track built on a sample of Monifah&#8217;s 1996 R&amp;B track &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ryvph2Mwvkw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">All I Want<\/a>.&#8221; The Russell brothers surround Monifah&#8217;s sped-up voice with shivery keyboard notes and skittery drums, building up to some climactic drops. The song moves, and its video is all footage of Overmono performing live.
