Taylor Swift<\/a>\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0been on\u00a0Watch What Happens Live<\/em>,\u00a0<\/em>but, according to Andy Cohen<\/a>,\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0not for a lack of trying.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen<\/em>\u00a0(WWHL) stands out in the late-night landscape for its lively interviews and celebrity candor, but, notably, Swift has yet to grace the Bravo show\u2019s set.\u00a0<\/p>\n With a female-driven audience, WWHL hits Swift\u2019s target demographic but has a\u00a0noticeably\u00a0smaller reach than other late-night shows, and Swift\u00a0is\u00a0known for being very strategic with her marketing and the interviews she chooses to do.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n At a\u00a0fan\u00a0Q&A during\u00a0BravoCon\u00a0in Las Vegas, Cohen\u00a0said that he’s tried to get the pop superstar on WWHL.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI would love to,\u201d Cohen said\u00a0in reference to\u00a0having Swift on the show. \u201cShe has not said yes before. I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0know, some people consider me a little dangerous.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Cohen reiterated that he would \u201clove\u201d to have Swift as a guest in the WWHL Clubhouse and told the audience to \u201ctell her people.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Newsweek<\/em>\u00a0reached out to Swift\u2019s publicist, Tree Paine, via email for comment.<\/p>\n Cohen created a completely different kind of late-night show that brought together celebrities and reality television. He told\u00a0Newsweek,\u00a0<\/em>while at BravoCon, that at the start of WWHL, the \u201creal stars\u201d were reality stars.<\/span> Now, everybody around the world knows who they are.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cAll these years later, to be able to see Dorinda [Medley] pop up on\u00a0The Tonight Show,<\/em>\u00a0that’s\u00a0kind of a\u00a0way that I feel like we helped. Maybe democratize\u00a0the reality\u00a0stars so that\u00a0they’re\u00a0not just in their own silo,\u201d Cohen said.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Cohen\u2019s WWHL helped revolutionize how people saw reality television, but\u00a0it doesn’t have the biggest audience on late-night TV><\/p>\n In Q2 2025,\u00a0Watch What Happens Live<\/em>\u00a0averaged 343,000 total viewers, according to Nielsen. By comparison, other late-night shows such as\u00a0The Late Show with Stephen Colbert<\/em>,\u00a0Jimmy\u00a0Kimmel\u00a0Live!<\/em>,\u00a0and\u00a0The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy\u00a0Fallon<\/em>\u00a0far\u00a0outpace WWHL in terms of\u00a0viewership.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Just because Swift\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0been on the show herself\u00a0doesn\u2019t\u00a0mean she\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0been a topic of conversation, though. In July, Cohen asked Denise Welch, the mother of Swift\u2019s ex-boyfriend Matt Healy, about Swift’s album\u00a0Tortured Poets Department.\u00a0<\/em>Fans believe it was at least partially inspired by her breakup with Healy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Welch said she was \u201cglad\u201d\u00a0that she\u00a0lost the role\u00a0of being\u00a0Swift\u2019s mother-in-law. She said she has nothing against Swift, but \u201cit was tricky.\u201d When fans questioned why Cohen would bring up Swift during the interview, Cohen defended the question by saying, \u201cWhy not?\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Cohen also warned his friend and Bravo star Jeff Lewis against criticizing Swift.
