Canadian actor Spencer Lofranco, who appeared in the films \u201cGotti\u201d<\/a> and \u201cUnbroken,\u201d<\/a> died Tuesday at age 33.<\/p>\n His brother, Santino, shared news of his brother\u2019s death in an Instagram post<\/a> on Thursday. His cause of death was not released. TMZ<\/a> reported that the death is under investigation in British Columbia.<\/p>\n \u201cYou lived a life only some could dream of. You changed people lives, and now you are with God,\u201d Santino wrote in his social media tribute via Entertainment Weekly<\/a>. \u201cI will always love you and miss you Bear.\u201d<\/p>\n Lofranco\u2019s last film role was in 2018\u2019s \u201cGotti,\u201d where he played John Gotti Jr. opposite John Travolta<\/a>, who portrayed the notorious mob boss. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\n Born in Toronto in 1992, Lofranco broke into film with a role in the 2013 romantic comedy \u201cAt Middleton\u201d alongside Andy Garc\u00eda and Vera Farmiga. He earned his first leading role the following year in \u201cJamesy Boy,\u201d a crime drama featuring Mary-Louise Parker and Ving Rhames.<\/p>\n In 2014, he also played Harry Brooks in Angelina Jolie\u2019s World War II drama \u201cUnbroken.\u201d The film, which had a screenplay written by the Coen brothers, Richard LaGravenese and William Nicholson, received three Oscar nominations.<\/p>\n His other credits included \u201cDixieland\u201d and \u201cKing Cobra.\u201d<\/p>\n According to his Facebook page, Lofranco moved to Surrey, British Columbia, in 2021.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
