And we’ll get the chance to see the most popular country superstars showcasing their talents! With Lainey Wilson<\/a><\/strong> hosting<\/a> and Kelsea Ballerini, Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, <\/strong>and plenty more attending, it’s hard to think Blake won’t be there.<\/p>\n Well, much to the disappointment of Blake Shelton <\/strong>fans everywhere, there’s a high chance the singer (who already won<\/a> a 2025 trophy for Musical Event of the Year<\/a> for his feature on Post Malone’s “Pour Me a Drink”) won’t be in attendance this year. As for why Blake Shelton <\/strong>is skipping the 2025 CMA Awards, <\/strong>we decided to do some snooping and figure out what’s going on.<\/p>\n According to a report from E! News<\/a>, it seems like Blake and his wife, Gwen Stefani<\/strong>, are skipping the 2025 CMA Awards for a simple reason.<\/p>\n Per the outlet, the couple (who wed in 2021<\/a>) have jam-packed schedules and are super busy going into the holiday season. And even though neither Blake nor Gwen has made an official statement about not attending the CMAs, they’ve certainly kept folks updated on their lives via social media.<\/p>\n As Gwen previously shared on Instagram, she released two new singles in the last few weeks. One is called “Hot Cocoa,” and the other is called “Shake the Snow Globe<\/a>,” which will be featured in the holiday movie Oh.<\/a> What. Fun.<\/a> (out on Amazon Prime on December 3). And if that’s not enough holiday cheer, she also released a deluxe version of her holiday album You Make It Feel Like Christmas<\/a> on November 14. Blake’s new series, The Road,<\/a> airs every Sunday night on CBS. What’s more, he’s gearing up for a Las Vegas residency<\/a> in January 2026, with performances at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.<\/p>\n Considering everything Blake has going on, it makes sense why he’d rather stay home and skip the 2025 CMA Awards!
