Foo Fighters<\/span> earn their 13th No. 1 and second this year on Billboard<\/em>\u2019s Rock & Alternative Airplay<\/span> chart, as \u201cAsking for a Friend\u201d leads the survey dated Nov. 29.<\/p>\n The song reigns with 5.7 million audience impressions in the week ending Nov. 20, a boost of 6%, according to Luminate.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAsking for a Friend\u201d follows the eight-week reign of predecessor \u201cToday\u2019s Song\u201d in July-September. That rule was ended by Sublime<\/span>\u2019s \u201cEnsenada,\u201d which led the chart for the ensuing 10 weeks before being supplanted by \u201cAsking for a Friend.\u201d<\/p>\n Foo Fighters add to their chart-leading tally of No. 1s since the ranking begin in 2009. It\u2019s their first ruler to feature new drummer Ilan Rubin, who joined the band in July.<\/p>\n Most No. 1s, Rock & Alternative Airplay: Concurrently, \u201cAsking for a Friend\u201d rises 3-2 on Mainstream Rock Airplay<\/span> and holds at its No. 5 best on Alternative Airplay<\/span>.<\/p>\n The song also ranked at No. 8 on the most recently published, multimetric Hot Hard Rock Songs<\/span> chart (dated Nov. 22, reflecting data accumulated Nov. 7-13).
