Joe Scarborough<\/a> briefly lost his cool and dropped an F-bomb on live TV<\/a> on Thursday before quickly attempting to censor himself. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The veteran television host got riled up after watching House Speaker Mike Johnson attempt to downplay Trump\u2019s threat to hang<\/a> Democratic veterans serving in Congress after they released a video<\/a> calling on members of the military to disobey illegal orders. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Johnson said in a clip played on \u201cMorning Joe\u201d that he interpreted Trump\u2019s messages \u2015 in which the president wrote things like \u201cSEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!\u201d \u2015 as Trump simply \u201cdefining the crime of sedition.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhat I\u2019m saying, and what I will say unequivocally, is that was a wildly inappropriate thing for so-called leaders in Congress to do, to encourage young troops to disobey orders,\u201d Johnson said, ignoring the actual content of the Democrats<\/a>\u2019 message. \u201cThink of what a threat that is to our national security, and what it means to our institutions. We have got to raise the bar in Congress. This is out of control.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Scarborough could barely contain himself after watching the clip. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe lies so pretty. I mean, it\u2019s so easy for him to lie,\u201d Scarborough said as he sat alongside his co-host and wife, Mika Brzezinski. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThese people are lying through their fuck\u2014 their teeth,\u201d he said, before quickly catching himself. \u201cThese people are lying through their teeth.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Brzezinski let out a yelp and tried to insist that Scarborough \u201cdidn\u2019t say it.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIt was just half,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pa.), one of the Democratic veterans in the video, called out Johnson on Friday for his \u201cmealymouthed\u201d response to Trump\u2019s violent reaction to the video.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cYet another mealymouthed response from our speaker of the House, who continues to disappoint me with his inability to lead the entire House. What he\u2019s basically said is, \u2018I wouldn\u2019t have said that,\u2019\u201d the former U.S. Air Force officer said in an interview with celebrity.land\u2019s \u201cNews Central.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe problem is, is this president says things, and then he means it. And so it\u2019s really hard for him to kind of come across with that,\u201d she added. \u201cAnd then to say, as you mentioned, something as inaccurate as the fact that we are asking for people to disobey orders, we indeed are asking people to make sure that they don\u2019t obey illegal orders.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
