Chu<\/strong> and the members of the cast.<\/p>\n Speaking with E! News<\/a><\/em>on the red carpet for the event on Thursday, Nov. 20, Luft said, “You know, I am so pleased for everyone on Wicked<\/em>.”<\/p>\n “I think that Jon Chu is amazing,” she told reporters, before going on to say, “I think Cynthia [Erivo]<\/a><\/strong> and Ariana [Grande]<\/a><\/strong>and everybody in that film, they are a separate entity. And they have their own story and their own visit with Oz.”<\/p>\n Luft, 73, knows all about the merry old land of Oz, as her mom famously played Dorothy in the groundbreaking 1939 film, The Wizard of Oz<\/a><\/em>.
