The Old North Festival Chorus in Marblehead<\/a> will present its annual Christmas concerts on Dec. 6-7, according to a community announcement.<\/p>\n\n

Cconcerts will take place at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, and at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, in the sanctuary of the Old North Church Meeting House, 35 Washington St.<\/a>, Marblehead, according to the announcement.<\/p>\n

Soloists and guest artists include Holly Cameron and Anne Burgett, sopranos; Rebecca Kenneally, mezzo-soprano; Kevin Hayden, tenor; David Thomas Mather, baritone; and Caleb Mayo, narrator.<\/p>\n\n

Chorus director is back for a 37th year<\/h2>\n

The Old North Festival Orchestra and the 90-voice chorus will be led by Maria van Kalken, minister of music at Old North Church<\/a>, according to the announcement. She’s celebrating her 37th season as director of the Festival Chorus.<\/p>\n\n

The Festival Chorus brings together Old North’s Senior Choir with singers from various neighboring communities. Each season, the chorus welcomes new members while maintaining a core group of returning participants. This year’s chorus includes more than 80 singers.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the Festival Chorus performances are priced at $35, according to the announcement.
