US legislators have criticised Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor\u2019s \u201csilence\u201d during their probe into convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n
Members of the House Oversight Committee had requested a \u201ctranscribed interview\u201d with the disgraced former duke regarding his \u201clong-standing friendship\u201d with Epstein. <\/p>\n
Epstein committed suicide in a New York prison in 2019 while he was waiting for trial on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges.<\/p>\n
Democrats Rober Garcia and Suhas Subramanyam have accused Andrew of hiding, saying in a statement: \u201cAndrew Mountbatten-Windsor\u2019s silence in the face of the Oversight Democrat\u2019s demand for testimony speaks volumes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Andrew continues to deny any wrongdoing, but agreed to stop using his titles before Buckingham Palace announced the former prince would have his titles removed and be forced to move from his Royal Lodge home. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
One of Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s survivors, Marina Lacerda, has mounted pressure on Andrew to reveal what he knows.<\/p>\n
Speaking to 5 News, she revealed: \u201cIf I myself got accused of something this outrageous, I would want to go and at least clear my name.<\/p>\n
\u201cClear up your name. And if you did do any wrongdoing, own up to it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cOkay. If you know this is something that you’ve done in the past and you regret it, just say it to the world. What’s the worst thing that could possibly happen now.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Ms Lacerda met Epstein when she was 14 and has also called on Sarah Ferguson, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie to reveal if they knew anything about the situation.<\/p>\n
However, there is no evidence to suggest they had any knowledge of any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n
