Fired Saturday Night Live<\/a><\/em> star Shane Gillis<\/a> recently made a bold claim about President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2018s mental health.<\/p>\n

On the Thursday, November 20 episode of Matt and Shane\u2019s Secret Podcast<\/em><\/a>, Gillis, 37, and co-host, comedian Matt McCusker, 39, speculated about the POTUS, 79. When McCusker asked if Gillis thought Trump was \u201cgetting dementia,\u201d he laughed and replied, \u201cI mean, I don\u2019t know. He just seems a little slower than usual.\u201d<\/p>\n

McCusker pointed out that there is \u201cspeculation that T-Dog might be rocking Biden brains,\u201d in reference to former President Joe Biden<\/a>, 83.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s definitely not at Biden brains yet,\u201d Gillis speculated. \u201cBut he\u2019s circling the drain.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, Gillis brought up Trump telling journalist Catherine Lucey from Bloomberg News, \u201cQuiet, piggy!\u201d after she asked a question about the late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein<\/a> on Air Force One on November 14.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Quiet, piggy\u2019 was f***ing crazy,\u201d Gillis declared. \u201cIt\u2019s pretty wild. I just can\u2019t think of how embarrassed that lady must have been. \u2026That must have been so funny. Think of if you were next to her and you hated her.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2019, SNL<\/em> fired Gillis<\/a> after his past racist and homophobic remarks resurfaced. The axing came before he actually appeared on the show in Season 45, after he was announced as one of three new cast members, including Chloe Fineman<\/a> and Bowen Yang<\/a>. The stand-up comedian went on to host SNL<\/em> twice \u2014 in February 2024 during Season 49 and in March 2025 during Season 50.<\/p>\n

Gillis isn\u2019t the only one to speak out against Trump\u2019s \u201cpiggy\u201d remark. Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> turned the insult around on the POTUS<\/a> during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/a><\/em> after Trump called the late-night host a \u201cbum.\u201d Additionally, Anderson Cooper<\/a> was utterly baffled by the comment<\/a>, and The View<\/a><\/em> hosts put Trump on blast<\/a> for his \u201cpiggy\u201d remark, too.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Bill Maher<\/a> issued a blunt response to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt<\/a>\u2018s defense of the POTUS\u2019 insult.<\/p>\n
