Today, Eric Clapton has released a remastered special edition of his 1989 album Journeyman<\/em>, via Bushbranch\/Surfdog Records. Journeyman: Deluxe Edition<\/em> is available digitally and on CD\/LP and features four new bonus tracks. Also releasing today is the music video for a new bonus track off the record \u201cHigher Power,\u201d written by Jerry Williams. Ahead of today\u2019s release, Eric debuted his single, one of the recently uncovered songs, \u201cForever\u201d in September. The single arrived alongside an accompanying music video \u2013 watch the video HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Eric\u2019s Journeyman: Deluxe Edition<\/em> brings new life to the iconic 1989 album with three previously unreleased tracks uncovered from the original recording sessions plus an additional bonus track. The album features classic songs \u201cPretending,\u201d \u201cBad Love,\u201d and \u201cRunning on Faith,\u201d with guest performances from George Harrison, Phil Collins, Chaka Khan, Daryl Hall, Robert Cray, and more.<\/p>\n

In the album\u2019s liner notes: \u201cA few years ago, Clapton was on YouTube, just poking around looking at old footage and songs, and found that fans had uploaded outtakes and bonus cuts of songs from the Journeyman sessions. After a search through Clapton\u2019s vaults, these four bonus cuts are now on the album, mixed and mastered anew for this edition.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
