We’re still reeling from the fallout of the final of series three<\/a> of The Traitors, but there’s good news for fans of the reality show as the first every celebrity series of the UK version is right around the corner \u2013 as well as a fourth series of the civilian series.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

And with a rumoured cast of genuine A-Listers that puts a lot of the other celebrity-based reality shows to shame, we’re already gripped by the mere thought of seeing these famous faces making wild accusations from across the Round Table.<\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

The series three launch episode had an astonishing 10 million people tune in and even the show’s filmed podcast spin-off, The Traitors: Uncloaked<\/a>, started to garner more viewers than Love Island, so it’s no wonder the BBC and Studio Lambert found themselves looking at new ways to expand the Traitors universe \u2013 or that they’ve confirmed the show will continue until 2030.<\/p>\n

And for those of us who have been begging for a celebrity version of our favourite game of deceit, we’re in luck as filming is already underway.<\/p>\n

When is the Celebrity Traitors UK start date?<\/h2>\n

The celebrity series of The Traitors UK doesn’t have a release date yet, but as filming is taking placed in April 2025, it seems we will have to wait until the second half of 2025 to watch.<\/p>\n

Who will be in the Celebrity Traitors cast?<\/h2>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Some very big names have been flying around ever since the celebrity series was first rumours. A source said, \u2018Behind the scenes, big names have already expressed their interest in taking part from the moment it was revealed the new version of The Traitors was being made.’<\/p>\n

However, the BBC have not commented on all the \u2018speculation\u2019. \u2018The Traitors is a game that includes lies and deception, thus it would be foolhardy for any Faithful to speculate before the game has begun,\u2019 a BBC spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

He has been one of viewers\u2019 dream signings since the idea of a celebrity version was first floated so everyone is thrilled talks are in final stages,\u2019 an insider revealed.<\/p>\n

Having retired from diving, Olympian Tom is taking the plunge into reality TV, according to reports. \u2018He\u2019s always been a top target for reality show bookers, but his team knew he had the pick of the crop. The first series of the celebrity edition blows I\u2019m A Celebrity and Strictly out the water really, and Tom knows it will be hugely fun to film,\u2019 an insider said. \u2018He\u2019ll make a great player too, as no one would suspect misdeeds from such a baby-faced lad.\u2019<\/p>\n

Tom has recently been in Scotland, where The Traitors is filmed, shooting his new show Game of Wool.<\/p>\n

She will relish the opportunity whatever side she is on \u2013 she should be able to spot people bluffing a mile off \u2013 and she will be great at playing innocent if she is a Traitor,\u2019 a source said.<\/p>\n

Another insider added, \u2018Paloma is a fascinating character with plenty of stories to tell of life in the public eye, and great fun to be around. She\u2019ll be an incredible player and will bring some glam to the castle \u2013 Claudia will have competition.\u2019<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0The Sun, Stephen Fry was top of Claudia’s list. An insider said, ‘Claudia put Stephen right at the top of celebs she\u2019d want on The Traitors and Stephen has made it clear he\u2019d be game.<\/p>\n

‘Stephen is a fan of the show and Claudia was desperate for him to be in it… He told the show\u2019s bosses to name a time and date and he\u2019ll be there.’<\/p>\n

A source told The Sun, ‘Jonathan is the ideal target for The Traitors’ producers because he\u2019s a high-profile celebrity who doesn\u2019t regularly appear on the reality TV circuit. He\u2019s also one of a small army of stars who are self-confessed fans of the show.’ Oh, and he’s another friend of Claudia.<\/p>\n

‘On Ted Lasso, his character Nathan was a really surprising villain, absolutely no one saw it coming. Nick is going to bring an element of that to The Traitors. He has his game plan and he is going to really play the game.<\/p>\n
