The season is said to be even bigger and better than the first, with an increased FX budget and an even bigger push to be closer to the source material. With Rick Riordan as one of the creative directors, there is no way fans can argue that the original author would have given the new series his blessing. The showrunners also seem to really believe in this season, as casting and filming have already begun for the third instalment of the franchise. The series is set to premiere with a two-part episode special that is set to change the Percy Jackson world forever.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Since the seasons of the show are set to follow one respective book, many fans already know what will happen in the upcoming season. The tree was once Talia Grace, one of the last daughters of Zeus, before she sacrificed herself so her friends could make it to the camp. Luke poisoned the tree on one of his last visits to the camp, and now the entirety of Camp Half blood is in danger.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Any fan of the series knows the upcoming season is the true stepping stone for the overall series, and the new poster perfectly demonstrates that. The new promotional material depicts all the key players, as well as some hints at the monsters they may face along their journey.
