That sets the stage for a Christmas war with each other in their desire to impress an event producer, played by Loretta Devine. According to the logline:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><em>Former childhood best friends, April (Reid) and Chastity (Stevens West), haven\u2019t spoken ever since April bailed on their plan to move to New York, choosing Paris instead to chase her dream as an event producer. When her career fizzles, April returns home and unexpectedly crosses paths with Chastity, who is also out of work, and desperate for a fresh start. Both women set their sights on the same event design job for the upcoming Sugar Heights Christmas Eve Spectacular. But to impress Hen (Devine), the event producer overseeing the show, they\u2019ll need to mend old wounds and work as a team.
