Corey Feldman<\/strong> made headlines this weekend when he made some bold claims about the behind-the-scenes culture on Dancing With The Stars<\/em> \u2014 but now the show’s celebrity contestants and professional dancers are coming to its defense.<\/p>\n The former child star, 54, was the first eliminated on this season of the reality competition series. During a preview for an upcoming episode of the\u00a0Gurvey\u2019s Law<\/em>\u00a0radio show<\/a>, obtained by the\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a><\/em>, Feldman claimed the BTS culture was “toxic.”<\/p>\n \u201cThere was a lot of stupidity in the mudslinging that went on behind the scenes,\u201d Feldman said. \u201cActually there, everything was great. But the behind-the-scenes drama and BS that people throw around that show, I\u2019ve never seen anything like it. It\u2019s the worst, like, most toxic.\u201d<\/p>\n RELATED:\u00a0Corey Feldman Doesn\u2019t Hold Back About the \u2018Toxic\u2019 Behind-the-Scenes of \u2018DWTS\u2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n After People<\/em> posted Feldman’s claims to Instagram<\/a>, several former celebrity contestants and professional dancers took to the comment section to refute his claims.<\/p>\n “\ud83e\uddd0\ud83e\udd14\ud83e\udd10\ud83e\udd25,” commented pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy<\/strong>, who is married to Feldman’s dance partner Jenna Johnson<\/strong>. “How odd\u2026 \ud83e\uddd0.” wrote former pro Sharna Burgess<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “Such a lie! its the most welcoming experience,” said season 32 contestant Lele Pons<\/strong>. “Never experienced anything toxic when I was on the show.” wrote season 18 runner-up Amy Purdy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “There is nothing toxic on the show. It\u2019s such a welcoming family,” commented season 32 contestant Mauricio Umansky<\/strong>. “In my experience \u2026\u00a0@dancingwiththestars<\/a> has one of THE BEST production families in the biz. Forever grateful \u2764\ufe0f.” said season 31 finalist Shangela<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “I only had the best memories come from my time on DWTS<\/em>. From the producers, to the makeup team to the camera men to the dancers, everyone was so kind and respectful. Like there on the set everybody gets along,\u201d he explained. \u201cEverybody\u2019s great. Everybody\u2019s happy. You\u2019re working hard. You don\u2019t even have time to look up. You\u2019re just working.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cYou start\u00a0reading<\/a>\u00a0these things in the paper, like, \u2018This person\u2019s mad at this person. These people aren\u2019t talking to each other.\u2019 Or, \u2018Are people working hard enough?\u2019 \u2018Corey Feldman destroyed the show.
