Despite not being on speaking terms with his ex-wife Kate Gosselin or several of their children, Jon, 47, shared that girlfriend Stephanie Lebo speaks to his family. \u201cEverything seems copacetic,\u201d he said of the surprising line of communication during an appearance [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The pair first met in 2021 after they were introduced at a backyard BBQ. Jon and Lebo went public with their relationship in August 2023, at which time Jon revealed they had been dating for two years.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe met at a backyard barbecue at a mutual friend Dean\u2019s house,\u201d Gosselin said in an interview with The Sun<\/em> published that August. \u201cIt was a hillbilly thing we let fireworks off, it was fun. In the same interview, Lebo admitted she knew who Jon was before they met, thanks to the years he spent as a reality star alongside his ex-wife.<\/p>\n
\u201cI did know who he was when I first met him, although I haven\u2019t watched the show as faithfully as some others have, but I knew who he was and I had seen him DJing before,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cSo I knew about his past and everything although I was never Team Jon or Team Kate because I just didn\u2019t know enough or watch the show that much.\u201d<\/p>\n
