Adam Sanders<\/h2>\n The first soloist to perform was Adam, who actually has a history with Lynch. In fact, Adam was a cowriter on Lynch\u2019s No. 1 song \u201cHell of a Night,\u201d so this was a full-circle moment.<\/p>\n\n\nAdam Sanders<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

At the end of the day, though, it\u2019s the crowd\u2019s opinion that matters. Adam\u2019s original song was called \u201cAll Summer Long.\u201d Urban watched the soundcheck and noted that it was hard for him to make out what Adam was saying at certain points, so he was hopeful that it wouldn\u2019t impact the actual performance.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can tell the confidence,\u201d Lynch commented. \u201cHe\u2019s comfortable on stage.\u201d Urban agreed, adding, \u201cHe comes out on 10, always,\u201d with Lynch admitting that it\u2019s \u201cmaybe too intense\u201d sometimes. \u201cYou\u2019re quite right,\u201d Urban said. \u201cYou can come out to an audience that\u2019s like this and you immediately think, \u2018I gotta get them fired up,\u2019 but sometimes the audience is like, \u2018I don\u2019t know you yet.\u2019 So it\u2019s a weird thing to know how to read a room. I\u2019m interested to see how the voting goes for him tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n
Billie Jo Jones<\/h2>\n Billie Jo, who was in the bottom two last week and has been under the weather for most of the show so far, came out with something to prove. She performed her song called \u201cFlame.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\nBillie Jo Jones<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cI was waiting for the chorus to take off,\u201d Urban admitted. \u201cIt was going it was going, and then it\u2026\u201d Lynch was in agreement. \u201cI\u2019m with you there,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Cassidy Daniels<\/h2>\n Cassidy has had a great run so far, and she came out swinging with her latest original, which she referred to as a \u201credneck baby maker,\u201d causing Urban and Lynch to crack up.<\/p>\n\n\nCassidy Daniels<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cWhat a delivery,\u201d Lynch said, while Urban gushed, \u201cShe can sing!\u201d Lynch added, \u201cI\u2019ve not seen an artist like Cassidy in country music ever. It was like the perfect amount of energy, and that energy\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Britnee Kellogg<\/h2>\n Britnee\u2019s original song \u201cLove Thy Homewrecker\u201d was about, well\u2026a homewrecker. The song \u201cdid well on social media,\u201d so Britnee was hoping it connected the same way with the audience.<\/p>\n\n\nBritnee Kellogg<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t think the connection was as strong,\u201d Lynch admitted. \u201cYou have 30 seconds to connect with the audience. Who are you, what\u2019s the song, why are you going to love it? I\u2019m not sure she connected those dots.\u201d<\/p>\n
Cody Hibbard<\/h2>\n Since he\u2019s from nearby, Cody had some of his loved ones in the crowd for the show. He was able to connect with the audience right off the bat by mentioning his nearby roots, and singing a song about the area called \u201cWe Speak Country.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cCody sure does know how to rile up an Oklahoma crowd,\u201d Wilson said. \u201cBut I\u2019m not sure if that was in the right key or not. I\u2019m just hopeful that they\u2019re going to forgive the pitchy notes because he\u2019s a local boy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lynch also noticed that the key was \u201ctoo low\u201d for Cody. \u201cIt\u2019s probably the nerves,\u201d he added. Cody also acknowledged that he was a \u201clittle pitchy\u201d on the low notes.<\/p>\n
Jenny Tolman<\/h2>\n After being in the bottom two twice, Jenny knew she had to do \u201ceverything\u201d she could to not go home this week. She performed \u201cMarried in a Honky Tonk,\u201d which has a \u201clittle bit of truth and a little bit of characters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\nJenny Tolman<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

During soundcheck, Urban pushed Jenny to try and sing the song in a higher key, as he noted the original was a bit low for her.<\/p>\n
\u201cJenny was great,\u201d Lynch praised. \u201cRight away, with her story, a lot of the girls connected immediately with that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Channing Wilson<\/h2>\n Closing out the night was Channing, who \u201cpulled out\u201d a new song called \u201cReal Damn Country Song\u201d for the Tulsa show.<\/p>\n\n\nChanning Wilson<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

That was great, man, wow.\u201d He also said it was his \u201cstandout performance\u201d of the night, and Urban pointed out, \u201cIt\u2019s not an act, man. That\u2019s who he really is.\u201d<\/p>\n
