Christopher Nolan<\/a> has revealed that his favorite movie of 2024 is Gladiator 2<\/a>, the long-awaited sequel to Ridley Scott<\/a>\u2019s 2000 epic.<\/p>\n

The film, directed by Scott with a script by David Scarpa<\/a>, follows Lucius<\/a>, the son of Maximus<\/a> and Lucilla, as he becomes a gladiator and navigates the dangerous politics of Rome after his home is taken over by corrupt emperors. Paul Mescal<\/a> stars as Lucius, joined by Pedro Pascal<\/a>, Connie Nielsen<\/a>, Denzel Washington<\/a>, Joseph Quinn<\/a>, Fred Hechinger<\/a>, Lior Raz<\/a>, and Derek Jacobi<\/a>.<\/p>\n
