Hilary Duff has announced details of her first album in more than a decade, luck\u2026or something.<\/p>\n
\nSet for release on February 20, 2026, the follow-up to 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. has already been previewed by the lead singer, Mature.<\/p>\n
\nExplaining the meaning behind the LP’s title, Hilary shared: \u201cI am often asked how I still have my head on straight after growing up in this industry.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe album title is my way of answering that question. \u00a0It\u2019s luck, but there\u2019s also a lot of weight in the \u2018\u2026or something\u2019. Many of the things I\u2019ve been through along the way are held there, and I feel like ultimately that\u2019s what\u2019s shaped me.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe So Yesterday singer teamed up with her Grammy-winning songwriter\/producer spouse, Matthew Koma – who has penned hits for Britney Spears and Pink – on her first new material in more than a decade.<\/p>\n
\nMature, which was co-written with Madison Love, is “autofiction inspired by romantic misadventures in her formative years.”<\/p>\n
\nHilary said: \u201cMature is a little conversation that my present self is having with my younger self.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThe two of us are reflecting on an experience and sending love to each other. It\u2019s a chuckle, a wink, and a sense of being grateful that we are sure-footed in where we landed.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe album details come after Hilary announced she will be returning to the stage for the first time in more than a decade.<\/p>\n
\nThe 38-year-old star is set to play a series of intimate shows in North America and London.<\/p>\n
\nThe Small Rooms, Big Nerves dates commence January 19 at London\u2019s iconic O2 Shepherd\u2019s Bush Empire, followed by shows at HISTORY in Toronto, on January 24, New York City\u2019s newly opened Brooklyn Paramount on January 27, and Los Angeles\u2019 historic Wiltern on January 29.<\/p>\n
\nFans can expect to hear more new songs at the concerts.<\/p>\n
\nHilary said: \u201cIt\u2019s happening.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019m over the moon to be stepping on stage again. I\u2019ve got some new songs that I can\u2019t wait to share with you and of course some old favorites we can scream together. It\u2019s been a minute and I\u2019ve missed you. Let\u2019s make some mems.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn September, it was announced that Hilary will star in an intimate docuseries about her return to music.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress – who shot to fame starring in the titular role in the Disney Channel comedy series Lizzie McGuire in the early 2000s – signed to Atlantic Records ahead of her highly anticipated return to music, and the docuseries will explore the highs and lows of Hilary’s comeback.<\/p>\n
\nThe project is being directed and executive-produced by the Grammy-nominated Sam Wrench, who previously helmed Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour and A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter.<\/p>\n
\nThe docuseries will feature stylised interviews, performances, and videos from Hilary’s personal archive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
