“Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links.”<\/i><\/p>\n Jelly Roll updated fans amid his ongoing weight loss journey.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n The singer has lost nearly 200 pounds.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Fans were shocked and amazed by his latest transformation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Year three of Jelly Roll\u2019s weight loss<\/a> journey is coming to an end, and the singer marked the milestone in a big way: He shaved his beard.<\/p>\n \u201cAt this point, I\u2019m sure some of you guys are exhausted by hearing about my weight loss,\u201d he said to the camera in a recent vlog<\/a>, which documented the process. \u201cBut a lot of things change when you start losing weight, and you realize things. One of the things I realized is: I don\u2019t know what I look like.\u201d<\/p>\n In other words, he hadn\u2019t seen himself sans facial in years\u2014in fact, his 17-year-old daughter had never seen him without a beard. \u201cI\u2019ve had a beard to try to cover up my double chin\u2014which, I still am clearly gonna have a double chin,\u201d he said. \u201cThe last time my face was shaved, I was fresh out of jail. I gotta feeling I\u2019m gonna look like a Ninja Turtle.\u201d<\/p>\n On camera in his bathroom, the star took clippers to his beard and didn\u2019t look back. He filmed his family\u2019s reaction\u2014which was mixed\u2014and then appeared bare-faced in a later clip. \u201cThis was crazy,\u201d he said. \u201cYou know, one of the reasons I even started growing a beard was because I was so obese, it was just easier to cover up what was happening… I thought my chin went [out] at least a half-inch further than it actually went… failed science experiment, ya\u2019ll.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans and followers loved the transformation and, more importantly, that the country artist is continuing to focus on his health. In October 2022<\/a>, when he started his weight loss<\/a> journey, he weighed over 500 pounds. In April, while appearing on Pat McAfee\u2019s Big Night Aht<\/a>, he revealed that he\u2019s lost nearly 200, which he has previously explained happened without drugs like Ozempic<\/a>. \u201cI started at 540 pounds,\u201d he announced. \u201cI\u2019m 357 pounds [as of] this morning, baby!\u201d He added that he hopes to lose another 100 in the next year and go skydiving with his wife, Bunny Xo, in Sweden. <\/p>\n Another goal of his is to share his health and fitness journey as a Men\u2019s Health cover star \u201cby March of 2026,\u201d he said last year on an episode of Bunnie\u2019s Dumb Blonde<\/a> podcast. \u201cThat\u2019s my new goal. I want to have one of the biggest transformations.\u201d<\/p>\n So far, he\u2019s on track.
