The follow-up, The Last Jedi ($300 million) saw the earnings plummet to $1.4 billion at the box office. The third installment, <em>The Rise of Skywalker<\/em>, dragged the earnings even further down to\u00a0$1.1 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Likewise, Disney spawned several series in the franchise, which didn\u2019t have much success among the audience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Ever since the Mouse acquired Lucasfilm, Andor has remained one of the very few Star Wars projects that is both commercially and critically successful. The first season, released in 2022, had an impressive 96% RT score. The second season, arriving after a long wait of three years, once again took the fans by storm, sitting at a 97% RT score.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The series met its destined conclusion this May with no plans to return.
