Hilary Duff<\/a> is playing coy about whether or not her new single Mature is about Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old singer released the comeback song earlier this month, prompting fans to guess who might have inspired the track.<\/p>\n

Due to the nature of the lyrics \u2014\u00a0‘She’s me, I’m her in a different font \/ Just a few years younger, a new haircut \/ Very Leo of you with your Scorpio touch’ \u2014 listeners have traced the tune to the 51-year-old actor.<\/p>\n

DiCaprio<\/a> is a Scorpio as he was born on\u00a0November 11.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Adding fuel to the fire, Hilary’s husband and collaborator Matthew Koma posted a meme of Leonardo’s Titanic character Jack holding the single’s cover art.<\/p>\n

But when Hilary called into\u00a0On Air With Ryan Seacrest<\/a> last week and was blatantly asked about it, she gave a playful answer.<\/p>\n

‘Not confirming, not denying anything here,’ she said to co-host\u00a0Tanya Rad Yadegar.<\/p>\n

Due to Hilary’s song’s lyrics listeners have traced the tune to the 51-year-old actor; pictured November 19<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The mother-of-four added about her and her husband’s reaction to fan theories: ‘First of all, we\u2019re getting the biggest kick out of the speculations.<\/p>\n

‘It\u2019s honestly, it\u2019s thrilling. It\u2019s 100% thrilling and the internet is such a funny place. I\u2019m obsessed with everyone and I\u2019m seeing all the videos.’<\/p>\n

She added about the meme Matthew shared, ‘You can\u2019t take anything that Matthew posts seriously. He\u2019s the biggest troll on the planet Earth. He will lead everybody down all the roads and have the most fun doing it.’<\/p>\n

The Lizzy McGuire alum previous told Vogue<\/a>\u00a0about Mature, ‘The song is about reflecting on your past and coming to terms with the choices you\u2019ve made, but without being too hard on yourself.’<\/p>\n

And the pop star explained further, ‘It is definitely about a brief experience that I had in my \u2014 a long, long time ago [laughs].\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘But it is not totally autobiographical. I took a few artistic liberties just to make the song work structurally, but the gist is the gist.’<\/p>\n

Hilary noted, ‘I was looking back on this relationship and thinking about whether this guy had a habit of dating younger women or whether I was “special.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘The whole experience was super therapeutic to write about, but being so vulnerable through your music can be really scary.’<\/p>\n

Other references potentially pointing to DiCaprio include a line in the song about a Basquiat artwork.<\/p>\n

‘Going down on her on your vintage rug \/ Bet she’s so impressed by your Basquiat \/ And she thinks you’re deep in the ways you’re not,’ she sings.<\/p>\n

The Hollywood leading man famously owned a $9 million Basquiat painting that he received as a gift from disgraced Malaysian businessman and fugitive Jho Low.<\/p>\n

Another part of the song sees Hilary sing, ‘Hid my car at Carbon Beach so I wasn’t seen at yours \/ You knew better of course.’<\/p>\n

Leo purchased a Malibu home in 1998, which had direct access to Carbon Beach, according to Architectural Digest<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
