Meghan Markle <\/strong>\u2014 who continues to use her Duchess of Sussex title professionally \u2014 is being called out for trying to stay close to the royal family. <\/p>\n

“It’s her way of irritating other royals. She walked out of being a royal six years ago, but she’s still desperate to be something, but just can’t do it,” royal biographer Angela Levin<\/strong> wrote on X alongside her new Harper’s Bazaar<\/em>‘s cover.<\/p>\n

In the first season of With Love, Meghan<\/em>, Meghan corrected Mindy Kaling<\/a><\/strong> for using her maiden name, but she failed to clarify whether she goes by “Meghan Sussex” or “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.” <\/p>\n

Meghan Markle’s new show is receiving a lot of hate online. One of the more viral moments from “With Love, Meghan” was when Mindy Kaling repeatedly referred to Markle as “Meghan Markl.” Markle, smiling, corrected her: “It’s so funny you keep saying Meghan Markle; you know I’m Sussex now.” #royalfamily<\/a> <\/p>\n

“It’s our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn’t recognized how meaningful that would be to me until we had children,” Meghan told People<\/a><\/em> while promoting the premiere of her cooking show, which featured the awkward moment with Kaling. “I love that that is something that Archie<\/strong>, Lili<\/strong>, H and I all have together. It means a lot to me.”<\/p>\n

“I think as the kids get older, they’re so excited about, ‘Oh my gosh, Mama and Papa, how did you meet?’ I think that will come with time as they get older, but for right now, a huge part of our love story is that we share the name Sussex,” Meghan added.<\/p>\n
