Hall (Marlena) told them she got a dog and Hayes said she bought a Savonarola chair she still has, while Nichols revealed he bought a leather jacket that he later wore on the show for several years.<\/p>\n When asked about celebrity fans of the show, Ashford told the story of when he met Jennifer Aniston, whose late father John Aniston played Victor on DAYS for 37 years.<\/p>\n \u201cShe reminded me that we both auditioned for a soap back in New York, and I got the soap and she hadn\u2019t.
