My mind went into overdrive the moment I saw the Duchess of Sussex on the cover of <\/span>Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/em>. Questions bubbled up when I looked the cover image, then how the writer crafted the story, and finally looking at the individual fashion photographs within the cover package, as well as the images released on social media. <\/span><\/p>\n This comes as she\u2019s struggling with her Netflix show and As Ever brand. It\u2019s a tale in three parts that I\u2019ll delve into later in this post. <\/p>\n If you were an American TV network executive, how much would you pay to hear from Sarah Ferguson? Networks are offering six-figure deals for an exclusive tell-all interview, <\/span>according British papers<\/a>. I\u2019m doubtful for a few reasons: <\/span><\/p>\n She\u2019d likely face a grilling and would have to <\/span>really <\/em>reveal confidences about Andrew, Jeffrey Epstein, and Ghislaine Maxwell. Given that recently released emails reveal that she lied in 2011 when she said she\u2019d break off her relationship with Epstein, one would assume this interview would be heavily checked and researched. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n The interview would drag her deeper into the Epstein scandal, indelibly linking her to the dead convicted pedophile. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n Would six figures be enough? I doubt it, given her extravagant ways. And given her income has effectively vanished \u2014 her children\u2019s book is being pulped \u2014 such a payout wouldn\u2019t last long. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n If that wasn\u2019t enough for the former York couple, <\/span>Prime Minister Keir Starmer talked <\/a>about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor giving evidence to U.S. Congressional investigators. The PM, who was the head of the Crown prosecution service before entering politics, said, \u201cA general principle I\u2019ve held for a very long time is that anybody who has got relevant information in relation to these kinds of cases should give that evidence to those that need it.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/a> The Prince and Princess of Wales looked like they were really enjoying a night out together as they <\/span>stepped out onto a red carpet <\/a>for the first time in two years while <\/span>attending the Royal Variety Performance<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n On a fashion note, the couple chose velvet \u2014 William in a black evening jacket while Kate wore a spectacular green dress from a German design firm, which hastily brought it back on sale on its website only to see it sell out immediately, proving that the Kate effect is still a phenomenon. (She\u2019s also wearing the Greville chandelier earrings, which incorporate every modern cut of diamond.)<\/p>\n They also met Paddington Bear, who is starring in a musical. That encounter reminded me of what will forever be the best royal interaction with the red-hatted bear from Peru. <\/p>\n\n
